2 November 2022 at 15:10 UN: The temperature in Europe has increased sharply The temperature in Europe has increased more than twice as much as the world average since 1991, a new report shows. The countries of Europe have on average experienced a temperature increase of 0.5 degrees every decade since 1991. According to the report from the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the EU’s Copernicus programme, this increase is more than double the world average.
