Kristiansund hospital closed this weekend for the reception of medical patients who needed immediate help. Helse M\u00f8re og Romsdal announced this in a press release. On Sunday evening, there were seven patients who were ready for discharge. This contributed greatly to the situation, according to the health authority. AMK and the emergency services were notified that those who needed help were sent to Molde until 4pm on Monday. – There is not enough space in Molde either, but we have put in more medical resources to move patients around a bit. says Rakv\u00e5g Roald. During Monday, the measure was evaluated, and the reception is now open again. – Doing what we can, Kristiansund municipality will build a new nursing home that will be ready in 2026 at the earliest, which will have room for several of the patients ready to be discharged who will take up space at the hospital. – We do what we can, and for many years have been expanding our capacity all the time.
