Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister \u00a0Abbas Araqchi\u00a0 stated that the Iranian government is actively collaborating with \u00a0China\u00a0 and \u00a0Russia\u00a0 to fend off potential sanctions from \u00a0Germany\u00a0, the \u00a0United Kingdom\u00a0, and \u00a0France\u00a0. These three nations, part of a coalition known as E3, have signaled their intention to reimpose sanctions on Iran unless negotiations regarding the nation\u2019s controversial \u00a0nuclear program\u00a0 resume by the end of August.<\/p>\n

In an interview with state-owned media outlet \u00a0Irib\u00a0, Araqchi emphasized, \u201cIf this occurs, it will be negative… its most important consequence is the return of the embargo on arms. Furthermore, a return to Chapter 7 of the United Nations Charter that would label Iran as a \u00a0\u2018threat to international peace and security\u2019\u00a0 could result in dire legal and political repercussions.\u201d He assured that Iran has \u201ctools to respond\u201d if these measures take effect.<\/p>\n
