Dr. Luis L\u00f3pez<\/strong> leads the project, which focuses on bolstering the Medicine Faculties<\/strong> in Mozambique. The project has received generous funding from the Cabildo de Gran Canaria<\/strong>, which has allocated \u20ac100,000<\/strong> in direct subsidies to FICISC. The initiative is primarily directed toward medical students from the Unizambeze and Internal Resident Physicians<\/strong> (MIR). In total, approximately 300 health professionals<\/strong> and specialists in Mozambique stand to benefit from this project.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the Canary Health Service is also involved in completing and implementing the training of resident doctors through six-month rotations in public hospitals in the Canary Islands. Young doctors will gain invaluable experience at institutions like the Child-Maternal University Hospital Complex<\/strong> in Gran Canaria. Such exposure is crucial for molding strong healthcare professionals capable of tackling medical challenges back home.<\/p>\n
