Tendam is the parent company of popular brands such as <strong>Cortefiel<\/strong>, <strong>Springfield<\/strong>, <strong>Pedro del Hierro<\/strong>, and <strong>Women&#8217;Secret<\/strong>. This monumental transaction, valued at approximately <strong>1.3 billion euros<\/strong>, signifies Multiply&#8217;s first major venture into the European fashion and distribution sector, involving an investment of around <strong>883 million euros<\/strong> for the acquired stake.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ue-c-article__paragraph\">As a result of this procurement, Multiply Group becomes the majority stakeholder of <strong>Castellano Investments<\/strong>, which is the parent company of Tendam Brands. The previous stakeholders, investment firms CVC and PAI Partners, who previously held a 50% stake in the company, will now retain a joint minority share of 32%, through their subsidiaries Llano Holdings and Arcadian Investments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ue-c-article__paragraph\">This acquisition, announced in February and officially closed in Madrid recently, marks a significant turn for Multiply Group. Until now, the investment group&#8217;s focus has largely been on energy, mobility, media, and well-being sectors. With this new acquisition, Multiply plans to harness the potential of Tendam to expand its footprint in the <strong>retail and fashion industries<\/strong>.
