They have received 2,000 tonnes of grain so far this autumn, but about half of the grain still remains. Most of the grain is safe. The reason is that fire crews have managed to limit the fire this afternoon to a silo where the grain is drying. Fear of explosion Fire response leader Trond Fjells\u00e6ther says there is a danger of explosion. – There is grain in the silo and there is a risk of dust. There is then a risk of dust explosion. The fire service received a report of smoke from the grain dryer shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday. Those who worked inside the premises reported some smoke. Not long after, the automatic fire alarm went off. – We don’t know the full extent. Work is being done on site, says Malm. He says that work is being done to empty the silo of grain. No one is injured, but some have inhaled smoke and are being treated with oxygen, says incident leader Mari Fl\u00f8ttum at the Tr\u00f8ndelag police district to Adresseavisen. The county road is now closed close to Byneset church due to the fire. Uncertain where grain can be delivered At Fisk\u00e5 mill, work is now being done to find out where grain farmers can deliver the grain in the next few days.
