The director of the Institute of Social Security and Services of State Workers (\u00a0ISSSTE\u00a0), \u00a0Mart\u00ed Batres\u00a0, recently highlighted a promising statistic: \u00a07 out of 10 young people\u00a0 find employment after completing their training programs. This initiative is designed to equip youth with skills necessary for today’s job market. On the 28th of each month, \u00a0financial support payments\u00a0 are issued, and recently \u00a0222,000 young beneficiaries\u00a0 received a stipend of \u00a08,480 pesos\u00a0. This funding enables them to pursue further education or enter the workforce, significantly \u00a0enhancing their future prospects\u00a0.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Progress in Social Programs<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

\u00a0Ariadna Montiel\u00a0, Secretary of Welfare, reported significant advancements in the government’s \u00a0social programs\u00a0. As of August 2025, there are \u00a012,947,124 beneficiaries\u00a0 receiving pensions aimed at older adults. This financial support plays a crucial role in alleviating poverty among the elderly population.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Additionally, the \u00a0Women Welfare Program\u00a0 boasts \u00a01,258,000 beneficiaries\u00a0, while \u00a0people with disabilities\u00a0 number at \u00a01,606,382\u00a0. Moreover, \u00a0151,422 working mothers\u00a0 and \u00a0418,515 individuals\u00a0 enrolled in the \u00a0“Sowing Life” program\u00a0 are also being supported. These programs are designed to uplift some of the most vulnerable segments of society, including women and disabled individuals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In total, these social initiatives have benefited \u00a016,125,501 individuals\u00a0, with an impressive investment of \u00a090,957 million pesos\u00a0.
