This Saturday, June 28, ATMs in Spain will see the introduction of three key characteristics aimed at \u00a0improving accessibility\u00a0 for all users: headphone connections, higher contrast screens for easier reading, and an intuitive touch interface.<\/p>\n

As published by 20 minutes<\/i>, the implementation of the new \u00a0Law 11\/2023\u00a0 will mark the beginning of a significant technological transformation in the ATM network. This change is particularly focused on facilitating access to banking services for older individuals and those with visual, auditory, or cognitive disabilities.<\/p>\n

Starting this Saturday, the new ATMs will be equipped to allow users to \u00a0connect their own headphones\u00a0. This feature will enable individuals to receive instructions or confidential information through audio, thus promoting privacy while assisting individuals with visual impairments.<\/p>\n

The introduction of voice instructions and guided navigation through audio will empower users to carry out transactions more safely and independently. Furthermore, the devices will include \u00a0Braille keyboards\u00a0 and \u00a0tactile buttons\u00a0, enhancing user autonomy.<\/p>\n
