The disappearance of Melina Abril Romero, 27 years old,<\/b> was reported to the police by her mother after several days without news about her whereabouts in Resistencia<\/b>, Chaco Province.<\/p>\n

According to the local media outlet Diario Tag<\/i>, Claudia Liliana Esquivel<\/b>, Melina\u2019s mother, reached out for authorities’ assistance on a Saturday. She recounted that Melina was at her ex-mother-in-law\u2019s house with her daughter, and that was the last information she had about her. However, upon visiting the location on Calle Los Jazmines, number 900<\/b>, she learned that her daughter hadn’t been there since Wednesday, June 11.<\/p>\n

Her hair is \u00a0black\u00a0, wavy, reaching shoulder length, and her eyes are \u00a0dark brown\u00a0. Among her distinctive features, she has a cross tattoo on her left shoulder, a diamond on the back of her left arm, and a tree of life tattoo on her abdomen. Additionally, she has a noticeable scar on her forehead and a piercing in her nose.<\/p>\n

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a \u00a0black jacket\u00a0, \u00a0light jeans\u00a0, and \u00a0black boots\u00a0. Melina did not have her cellphone with her, but she is known to be an \u00a0active user of social media\u00a0.<\/p>\n

The case is under the \u00a0jurisdiction of Dr. Marcelo C\u00e1ceres Olivera\u00a0, the on-duty Gender Matters Prosecutor, who has ordered the \u00a0immediate activation of a search protocol\u00a0.
