This operation, carried out primarily in \u00a0Culiac\u00e1n\u00a0, highlights the ongoing struggle against drug trafficking in the region.<\/p>\n<p>On June 15, agents from the military were conducting reconnaissance when they stumbled upon \u00a0two facilities\u00a0. This led to the discovery of various materials and chemicals, which were reported shortly after the initial findings. This operation was a coordinated effort involving members of the \u00a0military\u00a0, the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection (\u00a0SSPC\u00a0), the \u00a0Navy Secretariat (Semar)\u00a0, the \u00a0National Guard\u00a0, and both the \u00a0Federal\u00a0 and \u00a0State\u00a0 attorney general&#8217;s offices.<\/p>\n<p>Images shared by state authorities depict agents in special suits handling the \u00a0discovered substances\u00a0. The attack occurred in the \u00a0Las Vegas neighborhood\u00a0, resulting in three officers suffering serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>At approximately 6:30 PM, armed civilians opened fire at agents of the \u00a0Secretary of Public Security and Municipal Transit (SSPyTM)\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>On the same day, Omar Garc\u00eda Harfuch, the head of the SSPC, announced the \u00a0deployment\u00a0 of 400 security personnel and over \u00a01,000 military\u00a0 personnel to bolster security measures in the state. This comprehensive effort, aimed at enhancing safety in Sinaloa, showcased the commitment of both local and federal authorities to tackle escalating violence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;By instruction of President @Claudiashein, General Ricardo Trevilla and I traveled to Sinaloa to reinforce our presence with \u00a01,200 Mexican Army\u00a0 troops and an additional \u00a0400 members\u00a0 from the @SSPCMexico.
