Furthermore, law enforcement searched a cell in the Federal Penitentiary occupied by an intermediary for Purreta, recovering notes and pertinent documents that are crucial to the case. The consequences of these criminal activities return to a traumatic history, demonstrating a pattern of abusive behavior correlated with Purreta’s previous conviction for the femicide of \u00a0Andrea Noem\u00ed L\u00f3pez\u00a0, whom he brutally murdered in \u00a02004\u00a0.<\/p>\n

On \u00a0October 7, 2014\u00a0, Purreta was sentenced to \u00a018 years\u00a0 in prison for his crimes, a sentence that was subsequently united with another, amounting to a total of \u00a025 years\u00a0 in correctional custody.
