As protests continue, some have escalated into confrontations, prompting the U.S. ambassador to Mexico to voice his concerns.<\/p>\n

In a recent statement via social media, Ronald Johnson, the U.S. ambassador to Mexico, reiterated his support for President Donald Trump<\/b> while also expressing his backing for Mexico City\u2019s Mayor, Claudia Sheinbaum. She had earlier been criticized by Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security, for allegedly inciting unrest.<\/p>\n

On June 10th, it marked ten days of protests against the anti-immigrant<\/b> policies enforced by the Trump administration<\/b>. The sheer volume of participants in the streets has compelled the federal government to mobilize National Guard troops and Marines to California, leading to friction with local authorities.<\/p>\n

The situation in California has caught the attention of federal authorities in the United States. In this context, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem<\/b> accused Claudia Sheinbaum<\/b> of supposedly inciting the protests. In response, Sheinbaum firmly denied these claims.<\/p>\n
