HOW IS BAYRAM NAMAZI PERFORMED?<\/h2>\n

On the occasion of Bayram (the festival), the \u00a0intention\u00a0 (niyet) is made by specifying which Bayram prayer is to be performed. For example, one might say, “I intend, O Allah, to perform the \u00a0Kurban Bayram\u00a0 prayer, following the \u00a0imam\u00a0.” <\/p>\n

After this intention, together with the imam, the following steps are usually followed:<\/p>\n

First Rak\u2019ah (Rekat)<\/h3>\n

* After making the intention for the Bayram prayer, the congregation raises their hands in takbir (saying \u201cAllahu Akbar\u201d) and ties them.
