In its ruling, the court asserted that the order constituted a \u00a0serious infringement on freedom of expression and trade\u00a0. It also banned the sale of the flag at local markets. Following the issuance of the order, Platret garnered support from the \u00a0National Rally (RN)\u00a0 and \u00a0Reconqu\u00eate\u00a0 parties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph\">However, approximately \u00a0200 people\u00a0 gathered in protest against this prohibition, according to police reports. \u00a0Cl\u00e9ment Mugnier\u00a0, a leader of the \u00a0Socialist Party (PS)\u00a0 in Chalon, filed an urgent legal request arguing that the order represented <em>&#8220;an infringement on freedoms&#8221;<\/em>.
