\u201cYesterday, Friday May 23, 2025, our teams transferred<\/em> [to the hospital] the bodies of nine martyrs, some of whom were charred, from the house of Doctor Hamdi al-Najjar and his wife, Doctor Alaa al-Najjar,\u201d<\/em> stated Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense of Gaza. He emphasized that \u201cThe Israeli occupation has targeted their house in the Gizan Al-Najjar district in Khan Youn\u00e8s.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Alaa Najjar, a diligent pediatrician at Nasser Hospital, was on duty at the time of the bombardment.
