The organization has now sent a letter to the energy committee and the finance committee at the Storting, where they ask for an improved electricity subsidy for households, where the state reimburses all electricity expenses over 50 \u00f8re per kilowatt hour.  General secretary Morten Andreas Meyer says that a family with two adults and two children can have total electricity expenses of NOK 7,500 in January, if the electricity price is NOK 10 on average for each kilowatt hour.  Corresponding expenses were NOK 3,100 on average in the years 2014\u20132019 for a similar family.
