Significantly, all three films have distribution deals with \u00a0Mubi\u00a0. The streamer is now firmly in the \u00a0distribution game\u00a0, securing deals for other Cannes titles like Die My Love<\/em> and The History of Sound<\/em>. American distributor \u00a0Neon\u00a0 has also carved out a substantial portion of the Cannes pie, locking deals for films including Trier\u2019s Sentimental Value<\/em> and Jafar Panahi\u2019s It Was Just an Accident<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This year presents a \u00a0unique challenge for distributors\u00a0, particularly with darker entries like Lynne Ramsay\u2019s Die My Love<\/em>, featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Rob Pattinson, likely needing a careful marketing strategy leading up to release.
