The judgment states that the district court has no doubt that it was the accused man who exercised the election: After the offended man was found, the police contacted the residents in the building. They then found blood on the accused’s shoes and defendants themselves. Analyzes showed that the blood belonged to the injured man. The district court thinks the man is guilty both in serious bodily injury and for leaving the man in a helpless state. He was later transferred to St. Olav’s regional security department in the Eastmarket. Forensic psychiatric experts who, before the trial, examined the man, concluded that he was suffering from a psychosis. The suffering has been going on for so long and with such a massive symptom picture that it can be seen as schizophrenia, it says in the expert’s declaration. State Attorney Per Morten Schjetne therefore submitted a claim that the defendant should be transferred to compulsory mental health care. “He disagrees with that claim,” said the accused man’s defender, Ole Petter Grythe Hoff during the trial. He said that the man thought he was remarkable and not admitted punishment. The court, on the other hand, felt that the man at the time of the offense was not criminal justice: – Sad the whole thing Jasmin Gheshlaghi is a lawyer for the offended man who now lives with the serious brain injury. Gheshlaghi has not wanted to comment on the verdict on Monday. “It’s just sad the whole thing,” she told news while the case went before the district court. – It is a tragic case with vulnerable parties involved. Prosecutor Per Morten Schjetne writes in a text message on Monday that the judgment in the case corresponds to the prosecution’s view and the indictment. Beyond that, he did not want to comment.
