Tonight will be no different, and we hope there\u2019s as much sonic charm as there always is.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    We\u2019re confident that there will be, given the music from the 11 shows featured. From epic dramas, comic book capers, video game adaptations, classic remakes and some of the year\u2019s most original titles, we promise that the music from this season\u2019s crop of projects will bring you closer to these stories than ever before.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Tonight, you\u2019ll hear from an assortment of composer and songwriters kicking off with Bear McCreary heading to Middle-earth\u2019s Second Age with the score from Prime Video\u2019s <em>The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power<\/em>. The Amazon-owned streamer is also bringing us the superhero sounds of <em>The Boys<\/em> with composers Christopher Lennertz and Matt Bowen.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Volker Bertelmann, who won an Oscar for his work on <em>All Quiet on the Western Front<\/em>, will discuss his latest small-screen project <em>The Day of the Jackal<\/em>, the Peacock series fronted by Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    There\u2019s also Siddhartha Khosla, founder of indie rock band Goldspot, who won the Emmy last year for his work on Hulu\u2019s <em>Only Murders in the Building<\/em>. He\u2019ll be hoping to replicate that with his work on a different Hulu show, the dystopian drama <em>Paradise<\/em> starring Sterling K. Brown.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Talking of dystopian, we also have music from Apple\u2019s <em>Severance<\/em>, HBO|Max\u2019s <em>The Last of Us<\/em> and Netflix\u2019s <em>Squid Game<\/em>.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Theodore Shapiro, fresh from appearing at Deadline\u2019s Contenders TV event last month, will discuss working with Ben Stiller with music from the Adam Scott-fronted Apple TV+ workplace series <em>Severance<\/em>.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Gustavo Santaolalla and David Fleming, the latter who appeared last year with <em>Mr. &amp; Mrs. Smith<\/em>, will be bringing music from <em>The Last of Us<\/em>, while Jung Jaeil will be exposing us to the haunting sounds inside the island of <em>Squid Game<\/em>.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Apple is also bringing us some therapy in the form of <em>Shrinking<\/em>. Tom Howe, who has worked on projects as diverse as <em>The Great British Bake Off<\/em> and <em>Ted Lasso<\/em>, will be here to share sounds of the Jason Segel-fronted dramedy.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Mick Giacchino has worked his magical sounds into some major IP series from <em>The Muppets Mayhem<\/em> to <em>Star Wars: Skeleton Crew<\/em>. Tonight, he is sharing sounds from HBO|Max\u2019s <em>The Penguin<\/em>.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Dimitri Smith and James Poyser will be performing the dark sounds of Peacock\u2019s Sony Pictures Television-produced Philadelphia-set cop drama miniseries <em>Long Bright River<\/em>, which stars Amanda Seyfried.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Finally, <em>Arcane<\/em> is one of two video game adaptations that will be platformed tonight with Alex Seaver, composer and executive music producer, sharing the sounds of Netflix\u2019s steampunk action series that is set in the world of Riot Games\u2019 <em>League of Legends<\/em>.\n  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto\">\n    Follow tonight\u2019s action via social using #SoundAndScreen, and check back Thursday for Deadline\u2019s full panel coverage.
