No, not the independent newspaper for the Norwegian music scene, but more balladed ballad than this will not be. Tom Ball performed this at America’s Got Talent, and the cover song has an event in the true Kim Wigaard style. The original song of Radiohead is an incredibly anxious and suffering song, dying the sometimes parodic text. In Tom Ball’s version, there is an irony that one cannot avoid, when a song that is about not fitting in is technically perfect. But, as always, Wigaard is a delight to the ears, both in the tall and low tones, and builds the song even more layered and delicate than one would think was possible. It is powerful. 2 de depresno: “In Miss Feeling” (owned song) depresno’s second song in the final of “Star Fight.” Yes, it is undoubtedly the two best who have reached the final in Stjernekamp. Here, solid elements are provided on a running tape. If there is one thing this season has been characterized by, there are fresh songs that have gone their victory rounds on the top lists. This has given me a sense of distance between the participants and the music, as well as the participants and one as a viewer. Why choose one of the most overplayed songs from last year? Well, because he was more or less only over -played alternatives from the judges. That’s it, and Wigaard tries to make the most of it. Here, the raw material in the chorus convinces more than a fairly laid opening. Kim has repeatedly heard something ala “let you loose”. The movements of the stage are looser than before. But ultimately it all remains quite flat. The Benson Boones song has only two gears, and it does not allow for the drama that lives in Wigaard. As a final song, this becomes a disc boom. Even good that Wigaard has so much else flawless to show. 2 Depresno: “The Winner Takes It All” by Abba Depresno’s third song in the final of “Star Fight”. Then you wanted to curse the state channel. Depresno, your sneak, ABBA is an inertia. The song is painting, bitter without being petty and in a way also concominating – like that it is triumphant not to get what you want. It would have been almost appropriate if the Bergenser lost this competition. But it’s almost so I have to reject my previous favorite, Kim, because this number makes me want to be swung in and cry me far into the night. Here, depresno plays on what he has done throughout the season, his dark and alluring voice. But there is a long way from his slightly cheap version of “I Come” earlier in the season, to this.
