MEDUZA<\/em> recall<\/a>for its part, that in April Oleksiy Arestovych had “Criticized the Ukrainian authorities for having used sanctions <\/em>[\u2026]believing that they had become a tool to repress political opponents \u201d<\/em>. The former adviser to the Ukrainian presidency resumed this line of attack, after the announcement of the sanctions. \u201cThe sanctions imposed by the Zelensky regime against Petro Poroshenko and I are an illegal mechanism aimed at excluding political competitors from future elections. <\/em>[\u2026] Zelensky uses them as an extrajudicial retaliation tool aimed at its political and commercial rivals.
