And his Minister of Economy, Eric Lombard, was even clearer, a few minutes later: <em>\u201cNo, we will not create a new local tax. \u00bb\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph  \">Sunday, April 27, the Minister of Regional Planning and Decentralization, Fran\u00e7ois Rebsamen, had mentioned the idea of \u200b\u200bestablishing <em>&#8220;A modest contribution to the financing of public services in the municipality to reconnect with citizens&#8221;<\/em>while welcoming the abolition of the housing tax, completed in 2023.
