The Algerian authorities have not revealed the identity of the people arrested.<\/p>\n<section class=\"catcher catcher--favoris\">\n<p> <button class=\"lmd-btn-icon lmd-btn-icon--primary lmd-btn-icon--m js-lmd-dropdown-favorite-toggler\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-haspopup=\"true\" aria-controls=\"lmd-dropdown-favorite\" aria-label=\"Lire plus tard\" data-article-id=\"3417671\" data-position=\"lire aussi\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.lemonde.fr\/afrique\/article\/2025\/04\/08\/entre-l-algerie-et-les-juntes-saheliennes-une-crise-diplomatique-sans-precedent_6592431_3212.html\" data-status=\"\"> <span class=\"icon__favorites\"\/> <span class=\"js-btn-icon-tooltip\" aria-hidden=\"true\">Read later<\/span> <\/button> <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph  \">The suspects were presented to the prosecutor and must respond to accusations of &#8220;international drug trafficking in a cross -border criminal group&#8221; and &#8220;money laundering&#8221;, according to the press release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph  \">The police said that the cargo was hidden in a truck arrived by boat from the port of Marseille, where a large Algerian community lives.
