– I was at work, then we started to hear some screaming and shouting, says Madelen J\u00f8rvum. She works as a waitress at a restaurant on the pier in T\u00f8nsberg. The shouting came from people on the pier and in the boats by the footbridge over the canal. – We looked over at the boats, and then we saw a lady clinging to the bridge while it opened, says J\u00f8rvum. She goes on to tell how the bridge opened and went all the way up. A sailboat passed under, before the bridge closed again. – The lady remained squatting and clinging to the bridge for quite a long time after it lowered, says J\u00f8rvum, who thinks it was a very frightening incident.
