The strike affected, among others, Hydro Aluminum Sunndal, Glencore Nikkelverk in Kristiansand and Alcoa Mosj\u00f8en. Among the main demands of Industri Energi was to “put in place the right of action in the local negotiations in each individual company”. In a press release, Norsk Hydro writes that the strike has been called off, and that the plant in Sunndal can now return to normal operation. “Hydro Sunndal will be back to normal activity from tomorrow and shipping of products to customers will resume. Any delays to customers are expected to be minor,” the message says. This is what it looked like during the strike at the Hydro Sunndal plant on Monday. They were in the process of shutting down the facility at Sunndal. – It is demanding, both in terms of time, money and work effort, and not risk-free in terms of health, environment and safety for those who will run that job, says director of information Halvor Molland to news. Now Hydro is happy to release the shutdown, and to resume customer deliveries: – We are happy that the parties reached an agreement because it means that we can continue to deliver to our customers, and we don’t have to shut down the plant, says Molland.
