\u201cSome people say that everybody in L.A. is jaded,\u201d frontman Jacoby Shaddix told the crowd from the stage. \u201cI don\u2019t fucking believe it. I see you got soul in this motherfucker. You got heart in this motherfucker. You got passion in this motherfucker.\u201d <\/p>\n

Before launching into a cover of Tupac\u2019s \u201cCalifornia Love,\u201d Shaddix described his band\u2019s roots in the state. \u201cWe come from a small town up north, a small town called Vacaville,\u201d he shared. \u201cWe came out the fucking bushes, you know what I\u2019m saying? [In] 1993, said, \u2018We want to start a fucking band.\u2019 Now we\u2019re traveling the fucking world, living the dream. Thank you, guys, for living in our dream tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n
