Thus, astronauts can Sunni Williams and Butch Wilmore soon return home. The two have been stranded on the ISS since June. NASA prefers to have a new crew in place before bringing home the old one. They will be replaced by four who have been ready for months, but the launch has been postponed several times. The four to take over come from the United States, Japan and Russia. Williams and Wilmore should have returned to Earth in June at Boeing&#8217;s Starliner capsule after a trial in a week, but the capsule struggled so much to get to the space station that NASA decided to send it empty back.
