Ten days later, in France, the government discreetly submitted a draft decree which opens the way to a return of cutlery and plastic dishes in school canteens.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph \">Supported by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the text returns to a provision provided for by the EGALIM law of November 2018: the prohibition from 1<sup>er<\/sup> January 2025 of <em>&#8220;Food containers&#8221;<\/em> Plastic (intended for cooking, warming and service) in collective catering, from cr\u00e8che to university. This prohibition had been extended by antigaspillage law for a circular economy of 2020 to pediatric, obstetrics and maternity services. The draft decree offers<em>&#8220;Exclude the containers used for the consumption of dishes&#8221;<\/em>including the dishes (plate, goblet, etc.) and cutlery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph \">THE <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consultations-publiques.developpement-durable.gouv.fr\/projet-de-decret-portant-modification-de-la-a3138.html\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Nouvelle fen\u00eatre\">text is put in public consultation<\/a> Until March 14.
