Emmanuel Macron denounces “increasingly uninhibited Russian attempts at destabilization” against Moldova <\/h2>\n

Receiving her Moldovan counterpart, Maia Sandu, at the Elys\u00e9e on Monday, the President of the Republic denounced “Increasingly uninhibited Russian attempts at destabilization”<\/em> against Moldova and its “Democratic institutions”<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

“We have decided to further strengthen our cooperation to increase the resilience of Moldova vis-\u00e0-vis foreign interference”<\/em>said the French president, on the occasion of the signing of a bilateral agreement in this area. \u201cToday, we are committed to joining our forces in the fight against disinformation. Because, in today’s world, the truth is as vital as security \u201d<\/em>said Maia Sandu.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

She assured that Moldova had “Learned on the front line that Russia does not respect any promise”<\/em>accusing Moscow of leading a “Modern imperialism”,<\/em> Echoing the recurring accusations of Emmanuel Macron. Viginum, the French body to combat foreign digital interference, will thus consolidate its cooperation with the Moldavian Center for Strategic Communication, especially in “Protection of electoral processes”<\/em>according to the Elys\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
