The man admitted in court what he was charged with, and he was sentenced to 11 months in prison. The man shared a number of videos and photos, some of them self-produced, showing at least 12 different acts of abuse. They were partly very rough, according to the descriptions in the judgement. The court believes that none of the children can be over 14 years of age. Most appear to be between 8 and 12, the verdict says. Straight from prison The man was sentenced for the same offense in October last year. He had not finished serving his sentence, but was released on probation this summer. It is aggravating that he has recently been sentenced for exactly the same thing, and that he committed the crime while he was on probation, the court believes. It refers to section 79 of the Criminal Code, which states that the punishment can be doubled for repeated crimes. The new sentence of 11 months in prison also includes what he had not completed from the previous sentence. Not their own abuse Even if the defendant has not committed the abuse himself, the videos will contribute to the increase in the number of abuse videos, the court points out. The victims will also be given several copies of what they are exposed to. The court does not attach importance to the fact that the man sent the videos to only one person, since this user is free to spread them further. The convicted man has a cohabitant and is responsible for three minor children.
