Then she repeated it: The entire Swedish government will resign if Morgan Johansson is ousted during the vote on Tuesday. There are less than 100 days left until the Riksdag election in Sweden. Nevertheless, the bourgeois opposition will throw the country into a government crisis. And they can get help from a Kurdish “non-attached member”, who fears the Kurds will be sacrificed in the fight for NATO membership. THE PARLIAMENT: On Tuesday 7 June, the Riksdag will vote on the no-confidence motion. There is now a battle for one vote Photo: Andreas Ribbefjord Why are no-confidence motions being made? On Thursday 2 June, the Constitution Committee in the Riksdag came with significant criticism of the government and Minister of the Interior Morgan Johansson. He has been responsible for immigration and integration policy in Sweden since 2014. First as Minister of Justice. The last year as Minister of the Interior. What Johansson and the government of several are criticized for is not having done enough to solve the problem of crisis management and the crime challenges in Sweden. This year alone, there have been nearly thirty firearms killings. Young people are still being recruited into criminal gangs and environments. CAR FIRE: The Minister of the Interior was criticized, among other things, for having done too little to fight crime in Sweden. Photo: Johan Nilsson \/ TT \/ NTB scanpix – A gangster country – Sweden has become a gangster country, Henrik Vinge from the Sweden Democrats stated from the rostrum. He also made a motion of no confidence against Minister Johansson. A little later in the day, Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson was completely unable to keep the otherwise calm facade. When asked what the consequences will be if the Minister of the Interior joins, she answered briefly: – Completely irresponsible. She used the war in Ukraine and the NATO application process as an argument. Sweden is in negotiations with Turkey on how Turkey will accept Sweden as a NATO member and the security situation, but the war in Ukraine feels close and the security situation in Europe has expanded. RESPONSIBLE: Magdalena Andersson has called the no-confidence motion against Morgan Johansson irresponsible. Photo: Henrik Montgomery \/ AP Can there be a majority for the no-confidence motion? Then the parties signed up. One after another. The Christian Democrats supported the no-confidence motion. The moderates the same. The Liberals threw themselves on. You will not have to find the calculator: There are 174 representatives who have said that they will vote to overthrow Morgan Johansson. 175 is required. But where can one find another vote? With the Center Party’s 31 representatives? No. They announced on Friday that it was inappropriate to vote for no confidence, even though they agreed with the criticism. But to the left of the government sits the “savage”, as the Swedes call representatives who have left a party during a period, Amineh Kakabaveh. She was previously a representative of the Left Party, but left the party after accusations of non-payment of party tax and for failing to attend several important votes in the hall. Why does Amineh Kakabaveh have so much power? POWER: Amineh Kakabaveh will be the tongue in cheek. And the price she will take to support Andersson is high. Maybe too high. Amineh Kakabaveh was born in Saqqez, Iran. She has a background as a Peshmerga soldier and has been strongly committed to Kurdish rights in Sweden after she came to the country as a refugee in the 80s. But now she has nevertheless become a key in Swedish politics. And not just in this case. When Magdalena Andersson was to be installed as prime minister, it was at Kakabaveh’s mercy. In order not to overthrow Andersson as prime minister, they entered into an agreement that Andersson would work for the rights of the Kurds in Sweden in exchange for Kakabaveh not voting down Andersson as prime minister. That’s how it turned out. Then the NATO question came up. Amineh Kakabaveh has previously represented a party that is ihuga NATO opponents. One of two parties that clearly distanced themselves from the application process Sweden began in mid-May. REQUIREMENTS: Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is president of Turkey, has made five demands on Sweden before they can be accepted as a NATO member. Photo: AP Turkish demands, Kurdish fears Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that he does not want Sweden and Finland, and especially Sweden as a member state because the countries are free ports for terrorists – People with what Erdogan believes are links to the PKK. He also believes that Sweden supports Kurdish terrorists financially and militarily. Turkey has made five demands to accept Sweden as a NATO country. It was also claimed that Kakabaveh was on a list of people Turkey would have extradited – which has since been refuted. At the same time, Swedish diplomats have been in Turkey hoping to appease Erdogan and his people. Both the Finnish and Swedish prime ministers have turned to the Turkish president in hopes of “good weather” WILL FELL: Amineh Kakabaveh will overthrow the government if they do not refuse to meet Turkey’s demands. Photo: Fredrik Sandberg \/ NTB In the Kurdish community in Sweden now, there are many who fear that the Swedish authorities are doing too much to satisfy the Turks. That they will make too many concessions, which can, for example, reduce the financial support for Kurdish ethnic groups. But yesterday, Kakabaveh said that she will make sure to overthrow Johansson, and thus the entire government if they do not promise that Sweden will maintain the ban on arms exports to Turkey and fail to stamp out several Kurdish groups. Can the Prime Minister have to resign? Yes. She can do that. But it will hardly be the case that the opposition leader Ulf Kristersson takes over. Sweden will probably be led by a transitional government – a business ministry, as it is called in Norway, until the Riksdag convenes again after the election this autumn. However, it may be difficult for a Ministry of Commerce to explain that they are entering into bilateral negotiations with Turkey in connection with the NATO application. Thus, that process can be put more or less on ice until you have a new parliament. At the same time, there are several commentators who point out that this is actually a choice for Magdalena Andersson whether she chooses Turkey and NATO or her former rescue woman Amineh Kakabaveh. GOVERNMENT: On other attempts, Magdalena Andersson was allowed to form a government in November last year. Now it can become a business ministry until the election. Photo: Soeren Andersson \/ AP One possibility is of course also to fall and hope for re-election with a different parliamentary basis in three months. But NATO’s application process will probably only be able to continue as planned if the government stays in place. Opposition leader Ulf Kristersson has at least made it clear that he has not asked the government to involve NATO in this and that it is Andersson who has announced that the entire government will leave if the Minister of the Interior joins. There are many indications that it will be anything but a calm Pentecost for Magdalena Andersson.
\n

\n
ttn-69 <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Prime Minister Magdalene Andersson almost trembled at the podium when she was asked to comment if there was a majority for the no-confidence motion against Interior Minister Morgan Johnsson. – Then there will be a government crisis, she said briefly.
