At 2 am on Wednesday, 18.5 degrees were measured at Lyngen-Ura in Troms. It is both a record and the hottest in the country, reports the Meteorologists at X. The warning service Varsom is now sending out danger warnings for both floods and landslides for Friday for parts of Nordland and the south of Troms. Both notices take effect from 7 a.m. in the morning. They advise people to stay away from steep slopes, streams and rivers with high water flow. They also encourage road authorities to keep culverts and sumps open. – The groundwater level and the degree of water saturation in the ground are already high.
