June 12, 2022 at 17:55 Wounded Ukrainian soldiers have arrived in Norway Three wounded soldiers landed at Gardermoen on Sunday afternoon, the Ministry of Justice writes in a press release. Norway is now one of eight countries that evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers through cooperation. Norwegian authorities consider contributions through this scheme as an important way to remedy the situation in Ukraine, says Minister of Justice and Emergency Management Emilie Enger Mehl. In line with other Ukrainians, injured Ukrainian soldiers will also be offered accommodation in reception and settlement in a municipality.
