A 39-year-old woman has been sentenced to twelve years in prison after killing her then-boyfriend, 25-year-old Mathias Stormbo MacDonald, in Grünerløkka in May last year. Dagbladet writes that. MacDonald was found badly injured in a stairwell in Thorvald Meyers gate. Life-saving first aid was attempted, but the 25-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman explained in court that she does not remember much of the incident because she was under the influence of drugs. Furthermore, she said that both she and her boyfriend had taken a number of different narcotic drugs. According to the newspaper, she wants to appeal the verdict.
