“The court finds it proven beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant gave an incorrect statement at the police station on 6 July 2022. This when she explained that she was present outside the London pub, in Rosenkrantz’ street, on the night of Saturday 25 June 2022, and that she was shot at and suffered a gunshot wound, even though this was not true.”, says the judgment which The Oslo District Court ruled on Tuesday. The woman has been sentenced to 90 days in prison. Of these, 60 days are made conditional with a probationary period of two years. It was Aftenposten that mentioned the judgment first. Denied criminal guilt When the case went to the district court last week, the woman denied criminal guilt. The court nevertheless believes that the woman has explained herself incorrectly. “After the evidence, the court has no doubt that the defendant’s explanation is incorrect. It appears obvious that the explanation is made up and untrue,” writes the district court. They point, among other things, to the fact that the woman cannot be found on any video footage from the area where the shooting took place. It is also not registered at any emergency department, emergency department or hospital in Oslo that she has been treated for a gunshot wound. At the same time, activity on her cell phone shows that she was sending text messages near her home at the time the shooting took place. The woman appeared in several media after the shooting in Oslo where she said that she had been shot, but the media depublished the cases after it emerged that the woman did not have the status of being offended.
