26 June 2024 at 14:43 Woman from Nordmøre acquitted in mouse trap case Linda Strand from Surnadal has been acquitted in the Supreme Court for using a homemade drowning trap. It is reported by TV 2. Strand made a mouse trap in which mice drowned. The police first fined her NOK 6,000 when they became aware of the homemade mouse trap through a Facebook post. The district court concluded the same. The case has had several rounds in court and in the end it was decided that the Supreme Court should decide whether the requirement for a humane killing method should also apply to pests such as mice.
