The police received a report of the discovery of a lifeless person at the water’s edge at a bathing area at 08.32 on Monday morning, and rushed to the scene. On arrival, the emergency services reported that the woman was dead. The deceased is a woman in her 60s and the next of kin have been notified. – The cause of death is currently unknown, says Christian Prytz, head of assignment in the South-East police district. The police cannot yet provide more details about what may have happened, but are conducting an investigation at the scene. Among other things, they have closed off several walking routes with barricades. A drone was also used in connection with the investigation at the site. As far as the police know, no missing persons have been reported in the area.
