Innlandet police district is investigating an incident where a woman in her 30s was found dead in a hotel room in Lillehammer on the night of Sunday 23 July. – Two men in their 30s were arrested and charged with leaving the woman in a helpless state. Both those arrested have now been released, but the charge has been upheld, police prosecutor Mari Jøndal Bjertnæs states in a press release. It was at 04.08 on the night of Sunday that the police received a report of the death. CPR was attempted, but it was not possible to save the woman. The next of kin have been notified. According to the police, the accused men live in Vestoppland. They are known to the police from before, have previously been punished and are part of a drug environment. The woman was part of the circle of friends of the accused men. The auction of the woman has been requested.
