A person has been arrested and charged with leaving someone in a helpless state by not notifying health personnel. This is reported by the police at X. It was on Friday 8 March at 09:50 that the police received a report of the discovery of a dead woman in her 50s in an apartment in Hammerfest. The circumstances surrounding the death are not known, the police have therefore opened a case coded as “suspicious death”. They explain that this is usually done when you do not know the circumstances surrounding the death. The police report that they are working tactically and technically to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. There has been an initial crime scene investigation at the scene and the deceased will be sent for an autopsy. – We want to get clarity on whether the person died of natural causes, whether something may have assisted her or whether there is something criminal behind the death. The police will not release any more information today.
