Just after 22:00 on Friday evening, reports came that the wolf had been shot in the area near Jønsberg in Stange. The state administrator in the interior gave permission to fell the wolf less than two hours before it was shot. It has not been formally confirmed that it is the wolf that was observed earlier, which was shot on Friday evening, but the State Nature Inspectorate confirms to the newspaper that a wolf has been shot in the area.
