For  35 years ,  Laurent Gerra  has embraced his mission to bring laughter to people’s lives. The renowned  impersonator ,  humorist , and  actor , now 57 years old, was overjoyed to celebrate this momentous milestone on  France 2  on Saturday,  June 7, 2025 . The event was designed to be  festive ,  joyful , and filled with  emotions , as he elaborated in an interview with *Télé 7 Jours*.

Many talented guests attended the tribute, including  Bernard Lavilliers  and  Bénabar . However, the most awaited moment was undoubtedly his reunion with  Virginie Lemoine , his famous partner from  Studio Gabriel , with whom he was romantically involved. He noted, “It was very emotional; I couldn’t talk about my thirty-five years of career without mentioning the one who accompanied my beginnings.” But what has become of Virginie Lemoine? She has been recognized for her roles in television series like *Famille d’accueil*, *Nina*, and *Cassandre*, but recently she has taken a more discreet path, focusing on directing numerous theatrical productions, including *Dolores* and the upcoming *Un air de fête à Avignon* in 2024.

The Great Story of Laurent Gerra and Virginie Lemoine

 1991  marked a significant turning point for Laurent Gerra when he moved to  Paris  and began performing at the  Don Camilo  cabaret. That same year, he made his television debut on  Pascal Sevran’s  show, *La Chance aux chansons*, where he met Virginie Lemoine, a budding humorist already gaining recognition. They subsequently appeared together on Jacques Martin’s show, *Ainsi font font…* However, it wasn’t until  1994  that their fame skyrocketed thanks to  Studio Gabriel , orchestrated by  Michel Drucker .

This dynamic duo expanded into the theater scene in  1997 , earning the  Molière  award for the best sketch show. Unfortunately, this was also the year their personal relationship ended. In an interview with *Télé Poche*, Virginie reflected on their professional and romantic split, stating, “I decided to stop because there was no longer any risk-taking. We had incredibly effective material, and we knew it made people laugh immediately. Laurent was sad, but he let me go with great elegance.” When asked about their romantic history, she mentioned, “I prefer not to talk about it; we’ve never done so. We had years of complicity, but the rest is my story, one I’ve never shared publicly. We’re always very happy and emotional to see each other, but we rarely cross paths anymore. I still keep in touch with his parents, but not with him, although the bond is still there.“

Throughout the years, Laurent Gerra has also been linked to other well-known personalities such as  Mathilde Seigner  and  Lynda Lemay . In  2012 , he began a relationship with  Christelle Bardet , the mother of his daughter,  Célestine , who is now almost five years old. However, they have since separated.
