31 October 2022 at 19:45 Will release drone pilot Nord-Troms and Senja district court has tonight decided that drone pilot Andrey Yakunin will be released. Yakunin is the son of a Russian businessman with ties to Vladimir Putin and holds both British and Russian citizenship. He was arrested in Hammerfest on 17 October, charged with drone flying in Svalbard. The prosecution has appealed the case to the Court of Appeal, and Yakunin will not be released until it is heard there.
