Will demolish Norway’s queerest store on Åsen in Trøndelag – news Trøndelag – Local news, TV and radio

– Shopping trolleys have flown with both children and food for years. That’s what Tanja Munkeby says, who is on her way in to shop at the grocery store on Åsen in Levanger. But it is not an ordinary shop. He is the queerest shop in the country. There is a 70 centimeter difference between the bottom and the top corner, and it is very noticeable. – You just have to take care of it when you put the trolley away, so it doesn’t end up in the warehouse, says Morten Hammerhaug. Now it may be that the shop has to be demolished, in favor of a permanent shop. – It might be good to get a new building with a flat floor, he adds. Morten Hammerhaug says he will not miss the crooked floor. Photo: Tariq Alisubh / news Many people get dizzy The house was originally a dairy and the floor had to have a certain slope. But gradually the clay soil under the building has given way and the shop has become even more of an oddity. – Many people feel dizzy and unwell the first time they enter here, says Munkeby. Customers have become used to putting their trolleys next to the freezer, fridge and shelving. But both customers and employees think it’s perfectly fine that the odd shop is replaced with a new one. – It should be fine to walk on a flat floor too, says Hammerhaug, who will not miss the uneven floor. STEEP: The slope in the shop is 5 per cent. This sign notifies customers and employees before they enter the store.
