31 October 2023 at 13:24 Økokrim: Will publish decision in the Solberg case on Friday Økokrim will next Friday 3 November publish its decision on whether to open an investigation against Erna Solberg and Sindre Finnes. Økokrim writes in a press release. Økokrim has for a longer period investigated whether there are grounds for opening an investigation into insider trading against the couple due to Sindre Finnes’ share trading. In September, it became known that former Prime Minister Solberg’s husband Finnes had made over 3,000 share transactions while she was Prime Minister. Solberg has said that her husband’s dealings may have made her incompetent in several cases. The Storting’s Control and Constitution Committee is also investigating the case, as well as several cases related to ministers and their spouses’ share dealings.
