The BBC, which organizes The Proms, informed on Thursday evening that the final concerts were canceled in respect of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. The opera star writes on Facebook: “I have been planning and looking forward to this concert for a long time, but this is how it is, and this is how it should be. Rest in peace, Your Majesty.”
