Since he was first discovered in Finnmark in 2019, the white whale Hvaldimir has made headlines along Norway’s entire coastline. On Saturday, he was found floating in the water in Rogaland, and transported ashore at Risavika harbor in Sola municipality. – Unfortunately, we found Hvaldimir floating in the sea. He has passed away, but it is not immediately clear what the cause of death is, says researcher Sebastian Strand to news.
