She leads the giant slalom race in Kranjska Gora after the first round. The Norwegians succeeded relatively well in the first round in Slovenia. From starting number 22, Mina Fürst Holtmann raced down to a strong eighth place, 1.11 seconds behind the first starting Shiffrin. Maria Therese Tviberg is currently number 12 and has teammates Ragnhild Mowinckel and Thea Louise Stjernesund in the places behind her. The trio is between 1.51 and 1.89 seconds behind Shiffrin, NTB reports.
