Taraneh Alidoosti, who has starred in the Oscar-winning film “A traveling salesman” from 2016, was arrested after she posted a post on Instagram, the state news agency IRNA reports. In the post, she expressed solidarity with a man who was executed for his participation in the demonstrations that have been in Iran recently. According to IRNA, the actress was arrested because she could not document the statements she made. In the statement she wrote the following: – His name was Mohsen Shekari. Any international organization that watches this carnage without doing anything is a shame to humanity. Shekari was executed on December 9 after being accused of blocking a street in Tehran and attacking a member of the security forces with a machete. (NTB)
