There is a wedding atmosphere in Sunnmørsbygda. Many have been looking forward to the big day. Anne Kristin Møller and Vigdis Jordal have traveled from Oslo to Geiranger to attend the wedding. – When the news came, I threw myself on the phone, and got one of the last hotel rooms at Hotell Utsikten. That is why we are here, says Møller. – Yes, we will celebrate love. We saw the bridal party yesterday. We saw all the guests and everyone was just so full of love. For love always wins. We think it is a very important message in every world, says Jordal. Ready to swim in the Geirangerfjord. Photo: Remi Sagen / news Bridal shower with crowns on their heads The two ladies are wearing crowns on their heads to really get into the mood this Saturday. – In the old days, one had to scare away all the underground, so that the bride was happy. I brought this crown, which is made of pearls and beautiful things, to create a bit of excitement around the wedding, says Jordal. In addition, the two ladies have a bridal shower on the program – and of course the crowns are on. – We swim all year round, and it’s very refreshing. – Huge wedding party Another one who has been looking forward to the princess wedding is Iris Westerås. She rents out rooms at Westerås Gard in Geiranger. She says that they are expecting more guests than usual, and there will be a dish of klippfish balls, pork meat and raspberry lasagne for dinner tonight. – It’s really cool, I think.
