– We desperately need help – Buskerud

On 17 August last year, the police found a man killed at a cabin in Nes in Ådal. The man was Jonas Aarseth Henriksen. Many in the truck community knew him as “LastebilJonas” on TikTok. Family and friends describe Jonas as someone who always showed up. Loud, but funny. He owned most of the rooms he walked into. But in the months before he was killed, he changed. Changed into a Jonas who was afraid. He often looked over his shoulder. He shared pin location with friends or family every time he was in a new place. He let few people into the fear. He sat in front of the computer in the evenings after long working days and wrote. news has gained access to the document. He also delivered it to the police a few weeks before the day of the murder on 17 August. Jonas hoped the 30-page document could lead to the police reopening the cases. Because this was not the first time he had been in contact with them. He had been through a lot in the last few months. Jonas gets up early when he goes to work. He wakes up a little before six o’clock. The coldest temperature of the night sets in at the same time. It’s ten degrees below zero and dark outside. Little does Jonas know that in a few minutes his life will change. In the document we can read that he had a bad time this Thursday morning. He jogs over to the car which is parked at the end of the car park of the condominium where he lives in Tønsberg. There are many homes in the condominium and a lot of visibility. He is thinking of collecting the car and parking it outside the apartment so that it warms up before he leaves. As he approaches, he sees two people in work clothes just beyond his car. He thinks nothing more about it and greets one of the men, who is wearing black work trousers, a signal yellow jacket and a black buff pulled over his chin. Jonas unlocks his car and as he is about to get in, the man shouts something at him. He turns and is sprayed with pepper spray. The man hits Jonas several times with the ice scraper broom. Jonas writes about the incident: Jonas moves a few meters before the other man comes behind him and hits him in the head and back with a crowbar or a bat. He gets free and kicks off his clogs. He runs as hard as he can towards the apartment where his roommate Pernille is still sleeping. He storms in the door. – He was red in the face and ran to his phone, which was still inside, says Pernille Andersson today. He calls the police for help. Jonas is hospitalized for his injuries. The violence scares Jonas. Very scared. He installs surveillance cameras around the entire apartment. The violence causes him to call Pernille every morning to tell her that he has got safely into the car and has had the doors locked. He is in constant alert mode. The fear will turn out to be correct. This morning Jonas has a day off and he goes out to the motorbike. Spring has arrived and things have calmed down, Jonas believes. It is 14–15 degrees Celsius, and he has agreed to meet a friend in Oslo. But the motorcycle is wet, despite the fact that it hasn’t rained. Jonas sees that the wet liquid is on both the petrol tank, the seat, next to the engine and a large puddle on the side of the bike. Then he discovers ashes. It beats him. Someone has tried to light the fire. The bicycle is parked right next to the entrance to the apartment. Once again the police are called. The police also find evidence that the car has been set on fire. Because of security, they choose to move separately for a period of time. He to his mother in Drammen and Pernille moves to her sister. – It was really tough, says Pernille today. After about one week, they move in together again. They take the motorbike on holiday to Denmark to get away for a bit. But the bad news keeps coming. Pernille Andersson says that her partner Jonas was terrified before he was killed. Photo: Theodor Aasland Valen / news Because while they are there, Jonas is called by one of his employees. Someone has tagged down a work car with black paint. He looks over his shoulder more than ever before. Jonas struggles to understand why he is exposed to this. This night the couple have a visit from Pernille’s cousin, and he lies awake listening for sounds. It’s something he often does now. Because he struggles to find peace. Around midnight there is a bang on the wall. Soon after, something is broken. Pernille wakes up, and Jonas goes out to check if anyone is there. He sees no one. Then he checks the surveillance cameras. A man in a bubble jacket comes walking around the house wall and throws two pieces of steel at the apartment. One breaks the kitchen window. The police are called and collect the pieces of steel. Standby mode kicks in again. Jonas and Pernille decide to drive their cousin to their grandmother. As they have finished packing, Jonas sees two figures away by the car. Again they call the police. The figures disappear before the police arrive. They get to travel to their grandmother. When they return, they see that two of the tires on Jonas’ work car are punctured. The couple travel to Pernille’s dad to sleep there. They decide the very next day to sell the apartment. They dare not stay. Jonas writes: Jonas and Pernille now live at separate addresses. On 11 June, Pernille stops by to pick up clothes. She notices that there is a stone by the flower pot. She asks Jonas to check the surveillance cameras. In the video, Jonas sees a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and Finnish cap walking in the same way as when pieces of steel were thrown. The person throws two stones at the house. This time there will be less damage. Only the house wall and a tray of water under the window. The man then runs away and out of the picture. Psychological terror There are also several incidents of vandalism, destruction of cars and trucks and tagging around the center of Hønefoss. Incidents which individually can be seen as childish, but which Jonas’s family have described as psychological terror. Throughout the summer, Jonas himself makes contact with the police many times. He expresses fear for his own safety and asks for help. Sister Ida calls to get the police to do something. So do other parts of his family, like dad Trond. In total, Jonas delivers 11 reviews. All are dismissed. Summer is coming to an end. Jonas never manages to update his document any more. The 17th of August starts like most others. Jonas wakes up early. He has slept with father Trond and stepmother Torunn. None of them get to talk to Jonas this morning. As Torunn comes up, she sees Jonas driving his motorbike out of the courtyard. He will meet his brother-in-law Mats Arne Pedersen. They will train together. They talk about Jonas now looking ahead. He is looking forward to buying a house with Pernille. He will invest more in the company and is positive about the future. A little later, he goes on a work assignment in Veernveien. It is at a cabin in Nes in Ådal. He sends his pin location to a colleague before getting out of the car. It is the last sign of life anyone gets from Jonas Aarseth Henriksen. The charges – I sense bitterness and anger that it was not dealt with before, says the roommate Pernille. After more than nine months, the investigation is still not finished. Five men have been charged. All deny criminal guilt for the murder. The police now believe that the same man ordered all 11 incidents that Jonas reported. Jonas and Pernille often went for long walks on the beach when they had to talk or when they were having a hard time. Photo: Theodor Aasland Valen / news Will not comment The police have apologized for not helping Jonas before he was killed. – The apology will not get Jonas back. Hopefully it can lead to some changes, so that it doesn’t happen to more people, says Pernille. The police do not wish to comment further on what appears in what Jonas wrote. Prosecutor in the South-East police district, Kjell Johan Abrahamsen. Photo: Petter Melsom / news – We confirm that the police received the relevant document, says Kjell Johan Abrahamsen, head of prosecution in the South-East police district. – As you know, the police district has launched an evaluation of the case. We are in close dialogue with the family and their assistance lawyer, and want a direct dialogue with them, also when the evaluation is available, says Abrahamsen. Part of everyday life Pernille has sold the flat she and Jonas lived in. Now she has got a new one. There, Jonas has been given his own shelf so he continues to be with her in everyday life. HYLLA: Pernille has given Jonas the place of honor in the apartment. Photo: Theodor Aasland Valen / news Together they took many trips and holidays on the motorcycle. Although she does not have the motorcycle tag, she chose to keep it. – I felt that as soon as there was talk of it being sold, I felt a knot in my stomach, says Pernille. Now she has plans to drive up. – I have had my first driving lesson and hope to get my license during the summer. It will be fine, she says carefully. Hello!
